Landscape Forms Relaunches SHUFFLE Modular Smart Pole

The updated system combines lighting, connectivity, sensing, security and EV charging in one configurable pole for public spaces.

Landscape Forms has relaunched SHUFFLE, a modular smart-pole system that brings lighting, connectivity, sensing, security and electric-vehicle charging into one vertical structure. The company says the update responds to public spaces where limited room and rising customer expectations have led to a growing number of single-purpose poles, cameras, sensors and communications equipment.

As municipalities, campuses and commercial developers seek to expand what a site can do, Landscape Forms argues that fully integrated, multi-function infrastructure can add capability without adding visual clutter or additional cost. SHUFFLE is intended to meet that demand by consolidating advanced functions into one adaptable system rather than requiring separate installations.

Modular hardware and online configuration

The platform stacks Wi-Fi, cameras, sensors, two-way communications and EV-charging capabilities into a pole that the company describes as easy to activate and install. Its modular components are designed for customization and future adaptability, while the integrated design aims to bring modern aesthetics and operational efficiencies to busy, multi-use environments.

Landscape Forms has also simplified configuration through a new build feature on its website. Clients can specify their preferred camera and technology brands and choose among a range of options within each category. That tool is intended to help project teams define a system that matches site requirements before installation.

Shannon Lee, business development manager for smart poles at Schréder, said the system was designed for busy public spaces and can be updated as a site’s needs evolve. Lee said safety and connectivity can be integrated into outdoor spaces without dominating them, making the system accessible and user-friendly. She described it as a solution for site designers who need to balance multiple functions in one installation.

Plug-and-play feature updates

The relaunch adds options built around plug-and-play simplicity. They include a 360-degree area light, a decorative light ring, a 180-degree area light, quad-view and 180-degree cameras, motion sensors, and loudspeaker and intercom modules. Together, these choices allow a site to combine lighting, surveillance, sensing and two-way communication in a single pole.

SHUFFLE can be configured for specialized environments as well as general public spaces. Landscape Forms says the modular design provides an added measure of security and convenience wherever people gather to work, travel, study or recreate. Target settings include university and business campuses, airports and commuting hubs, shopping malls and tourist areas, concert halls, city parks, sports venues and hospitals.

Jordan Agustin, president of lighting at Landscape Forms, said the product reflects the idea that technology and design should work together to make outdoor spaces safer and smarter without compromising aesthetics. He said the new features and capabilities enhance both the beauty and functionality of outdoor space while advancing the company’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and to each other.

The relaunch positions SHUFFLE for site managers who must accommodate a range of requirements in compact, multi-use areas. Its modular approach lets those managers choose lighting, camera, sensor, communications and charging options by location rather than treating every site as identical. Landscape Forms presents that flexibility as a way to keep infrastructure visually coherent while allowing capabilities to change over time.
