Mace Construct to Rebrand as Forco in the New Year

The contractor describes its new name as short, impactful and easy to pronounce, with a fresh strategy and 2030 productivity targets to be unveiled alongside it.

Mace Construct will be renamed Forco from the New Year, the UK contractor has announced, describing the new name as short, impactful and easy to pronounce.

The business will keep trading as Mace Construct until then, and will go forward as Forco with a new corporate strategy unveiled alongside productivity targets through to 2030. Those targets extend to the end of the decade.

The change follows the split of Mace Construct and Mace Consult into two separate businesses in March, under an agreement that Mace Consult would retain the Mace brand. Once the rename takes effect, the contracting business will trade solely under the Forco name.

Mark Reynolds, Executive Chair, said Mace Construct, soon to be Forco, had spent 35 years raising standards and helping to drive the industry forward. According to Reynolds, the new name represents a clear commitment to being the UK's most forward-thinking contractor, and its most productive by 2030.

He said that although the name and brand are changing, the qualities that made the business one of the UK's most respected contractors are not: its culture, its values and the people who have underpinned its success.

Reynolds added that clients can expect the same teams, the same commitment to delivery and the same drive to create places and infrastructure that last.
