Rajapack UK rebrands as RAJA UK and adds free peak-cost planning tool

The Bedfordshire packaging supplier adopts its parent group's European brand and releases a free tool for estimating peak-season packing costs ahead of Black Friday.

Packaging distributor RAJAPACK UK has changed its name to RAJA UK, bringing the Bedfordshire-based supplier in line with the brand its parent group uses across Europe. The company said customers would continue to deal with the same people, the same product range and the same next-day service under the new name.

RAJA UK said it supplies more than 43,000 UK businesses and has served the UK market since 1998. It belongs to the RAJA Group, founded in France in 1954 by Rachel Marcovici and Janine Rocher, whose first names gave the company its name. The group operates in 19 European countries, and the company said adopting the group name gives customers one recognisable brand across those markets.

Tom Rodda, managing director of RAJA UK, said the name had changed but what customers rely on had not, and that the business had also made it easier for customers to plan for the busiest weeks of the year.

Alongside the rebrand, RAJA UK has launched Prepare for Peak, a free tool that helps businesses estimate what peak will cost their packing operation, and what they could save, ahead of Black Friday on 27 November.

Users choose their industry to see how far orders typically rise at peak, using benchmarks that blend Office for National Statistics retail data with RAJA order data from 2023 to 2025. They then enter their own figures, such as parcels packed per day and the number of people packing. RAJA UK said the tool produces an illustrative estimate rather than a quote.
